A dental crown that is what I was thinking as I started working on the artstorm word prompt for Monday. Well I couldn't be more happy look how cute my little king is. If you still didn't get the idea he is a tooth hahaha now you should be smiling showing your pearly whites.
This is a quick drawing I used a recycled bond paper a black marker and few washable color pens. See the stages of creating below
The initial sketch may not always look promising you have to be optimistic and keep pushing otherwise your frustration will get you quitting and not accomplish any
The marker kept me on my toes while inking. See the additional details like the Cape, boots, arms and the finer lines? I made those in one quick stride. Didn't put much thought I need to just draw otherwise the ink would bleed or ruin my precious sketch. I was feeling good here after seeing this result
I didn't have the gold color so I used three shades of yellow to create that color on the crown. The blank white spaces are meant to be highlights. I used 11 colors in total to achieve this. Didn't look much but that was it. Hope you like it
