I am still going through my collection of bits and bobs. Up first is an experiment in making a steampunk anklet. I had a short length of chain left over from another project, and a large pile of small gear charms. I broke the chain apart to add jump rings and gear charms. The last few jump rings are empty because I intend them to be used to adjust the fit. This was a tedious and time-consuming project, especially because I went to the trouble to count chain links and make sure the gears were all aligned. Lesson learned? Time will tell. I have more bits of chain.
Next, the necklace that left behind that anklet remnant. I used another bit of smaller chain as a sort of tassel behind the clasp like I have seen on some commercial chains. I finished it with a tiny bead pendant. I have no idea what the proper term for this bit is. The big pendant is gear charms and smaller beaded pendants all connected by jump rings.
This next necklace is technically part of the previous Golden Jewelry Creations project, but I hadn't yet decided how to assemble the beaded segments inti a finished piece. I used up my tiny gold metal beads in the transition to the chain from the larger eye pin assemblies.
These last two pictures show earrings I made to use some odd pairs of charms and the last four onyx beads left over from an old project. Simple, but effective, I think.
