Mischievous Mermaids are the mages of ΛZMΛRÉ Merfolk. They can often be found destroying homes of innocent Crustaceans around the edge of the Dark Water with their plasmatic wave

Steps

The Sketch

The first step is I sketched the Drawing which I will later trace on Medibang. The reason I sketch it first is because it is easier to erase on paper and because I am only using an android phone with a small screen.

Tracing and Coloring in Medibang

I uploaded the sketch in Medibang art and started tracing the outline and coloring it.
I always use multiple layers when coloring to avoid confusion so that revising the work would be easy. I also need to create it in many layers so that I can animate it later on Capcut

Fixing Colors in Photoshop

Medibang is not good for adjusting colors so I need to use photoshop to adjust the colors to my likeness

Animating in Capcut

After editing the colors of the background mid-layer and mermaid , I transferred it to capcut to animate it. I added effects on each layer to make move.

My Capcut Layers

Converting into GIF

To convert my Mermaid mp4 file into gif, I uploaded it to Giphy.

Details that I Like about this drawing

I like drawing this mermaid because of the details, although my detailing is not that good I think the details that I added like hair strands, scales, and fin strands made my artwork more beautiful
