Today i will be sharing with you with i will love to call creating value to your world. A valuable person to the layman can be seen as a man who has accom[plished a lot by acquiring lots of money, assets and propertiess. On a general base, people tends to respect and value this people because of their physical accomplishment.
I value is gotten from physical accomplishment, then I can agreed that terrorist, robbers and even drug dealers are succesful. Come to think of it, they have so many physical assets, amournations and what so ever deadly equipment you can think of.
Robbers go about stealing, beating and sometimes killing people to ensure they get what they want. Politicians ain't left out. They defraud epople and steal public funds whilke the masses die of hunger. Don't forget they are the one with the biggest houses, cars and latest asets you can think of.
If this is a defination of what a valuable person is then i will love to remain a person without value to the society. We live in a society where people applaud wrong doing and when someone tries to stand out for the change, he is seen as a rebel. Corruption everywhere. From the home to the school. To the village and to the society in general. People gets rich by collecting bribery. Cyber crimes is even left out. People fraud others all in the name of money. I think we really need to check what value is to us.
You are the value the world seeks.
I remember a story i was told by a man who was bought a wrist watch by someone so close to him. The watch cost barely $3. He decided to where the watch so as to please the person who bought the watch for him.
On a fateful day, he wore the watch and decided to go to go out. When a friend of his was the wrist watch on his hand, he exclaimed; Wow! This watch is so expensive. He saidn the wrist watch cost some thousands of US dollars. What he didn't didn't know was that the watch cost just about $3 dollars.
why do you think he felt the watch was so expensive? Thus was because the man putting on the wrist watch was a man of high reputation. He was a man of high interigrity and of high value before his friend.
The man was what gave value to such a cheap watch and not the watch giving value to the man.
Here is my Point.
Most persons see their assets as what gives value to them. assets doesn't give value to you. You give value to whatsoever assets you got. A house desn't have any value if a family decides to not to stay there. The presence in the house is what gives value to the house.
You are worth something. You have value in yourself. You can decide to add value to your world positively or negatively. The more you know your worth the more you know how valuable you are thereby affeecting your world positively.
Some persons see others to be more valuable than them. That is because of inferiority complex. If they will only see the value in themselves and decide to start applying their own their own the world will remain in the state it is. Don't see yourself lesser than anybody or anything.
