Hello and good afternoon everyone, it is a pleasure to be here again, in my publication today I want to tell you from my experience how is sometimes the relationship of a parent with a child when they are very different. I hope you can enjoy it.

I feel that the best feeling a father could have is that his son is just like him and that a little person who looks like him in everything, I sincerely think that it would be a gift, now it does not always happen like that, sometimes there are parents who are like water and oil with their children; that maybe they do not understand each other and this is one of the most common things that can happen.

More so when during adolescence the child has the ridiculous "idea" that he/she does not need to look like the father, and goes through a stage of rebellion that from my point of view is so illogical and unnecessary, but that in spite of that we go through it. I was in that stage, I felt that I had to be different from my father that I had to, "be better him", but really who said that he was a bad father or bad person.

It is never too late to realize when we have to make changes and having our father as a role model is not the worst thing in the world. In my particular, I felt that, not that my father was bad, but that I just didn't want to be like him. But he never really had anything wrong with him; the problem was always me, the problem is always young people, teenagers especially. It's that we just don't know how to deal with everything day after day "we think it's the end of the world" that we just punish our parents just for doing their job.

A father who comes from an upbringing where tokens of love were not common, surely it should be the same, but no; I come from a father who simply seems to have been raised in the most loving family, and it is true that he is not as sweet as other fathers, however, I can tell you with total certainty that I never lacked a I Love You, a I Love You or a Sample of Affection from my father, I always felt that he loved me, I always felt that he protected me, I always felt that he was interested in me: I always felt that he loved me, I always felt that he protected me, I always felt that he was interested in me; it's just that maybe there came a point where I felt that this was not necessary and it was easier to focus on the things that I thought my father did wrong.

Yes, rebellious teenagers, believing themselves to be nature's greatest sages, believing themselves to be more than adults. My father stumbled over many stones, yes he made many mistakes; but I just saw my father trying to remove those stones he stumbled over so I wouldn't stumble, and he said it was an exercise in futility to move stones. So I went and I did make the same mistakes, for being disobedient and rebellious. It is simply so difficult to notice the good things, to realize that even the most uncomfortable things for us can also be uncomfortable for our parents.

Let's imagine for a moment that we have a child, and then we have to talk to him, about topics such as: sexual relationships, bullying, How to avoid fights How not to be afraid of being rejected simply for not doing bad things or talk about more complicated topics such as What to do if you are a victim of abuse as a minor or **What things should you avoid? **, think about having to talk about all these things with a child now you understand parents, right, now you know they always had too much work and how to explain to someone you are so fond of what they always have to tell you if anyone wants to commit any indecent act; this is not easy. Of course not all situations are difficult for a parent.

There are simpler situations, as I said at the beginning, for a father it would be great if a son turns out the same as him; if he likes the same things, if they have the same personality. This makes the job easier, ah, but it turns out that the father and son are like water and oil; the son likes parties, but the father prefers to be at home, the son likes water, rivers and swimming, but the father is afraid of water and can't swim, the father likes sports, the son doesn't understand them and can't talk to him. And I know that this situation was not at all easy for my father and it is that he simply closes the possible fields of conversation reducing it only to the moments in which it is necessary to talk about important things in which you can talk is

Yes, I was like that with my father, sometimes he simply wanted to watch sports, but I wanted to watch cartoons, and as a child he tried to explain to me how the mechanics of sports, soccer, baseball or basketball worked, but for me it was not so exciting. It's not that I don't like sports, it's just that I've always been of the mentality of: I'd rather practice them, than watch them. Even so my tastes were very different from my father's and this can be better understood with an example: once while we were on vacation my dad wanted to buy me a gift, he wanted to give me a baseball glove and a ball, instead I wanted a four to continue my music lessons so my father asked me what I wanted obviously I knew he preferred to give me the glove and the ball.

Although at the time I wanted the four, I knew that for the moment my music lessons were not going to continue, I was going to concentrate a little more on my studies and as I am too procrastinator; as to have so many extracurricular activities I told him to buy me the glove maybe it was not what I was wishing, but in this example I clearly show how we were different, even so it is not that my dad had imposed me to like sports, but it was simply a common form with which I could relate without much easier with me.

Years later, although my father did not like music, he was not very interested in it, one day when he came home from high school he had a gift for me, the cuatro that I had already asked him for a few years before. Yes, in this aspect my father knew that he was almost not going to share with me, because it was not the subject that he dominated, even so the effort he made was for me. And at this moment I was already in adolescence, at this moment I was thinking I don't want to be like my father, but it is that teenagers are people who simply don't understand each other, I say that I am out of adolescence and yet I don't understand what I thought when I was.

But with the years comes maturity and one realizes that a good role model is what keeps you from having so many problems in life, so, yes, I can say that my father is a very good role model as a father, as a husband and as a person. Of course he has his flaws, he is imperfect like everyone else, but he is simply the best role model I could have. After I finished high school and tried many jobs, little by little I was learning about electronics and electricity, although since I was young I was always learning that for many years, it is the branch that my father studied and is the one in which he is more developed. Little by little I was getting interested, and actually I have learned with him is the branch in which we are more developed, we are so similar while we work; several times we have had to do work together, I am surprised how much I look like him; I hear him talking alone, while thinking how to repair something and I do the same. In the end I knew it, the secret is always to follow the best example they are giving you, you will never know how many sacrifices a father is making so that you can make your own way; parents will never try to impose you to be like them, but it is not that this is bad either, looking like a father in the end will always make their job easier and your life easier.

I also think that if you look like your father it will be much easier to avoid mistakes, because as your father made them he will talk to you with experience, and he will tell you exactly where you have to go in life and what you should avoid. Of course being a father is much more complicated than talking to a child about all the good and bad experiences you lived, but honestly today I can say that I am following the steps that my father left me, I do not know how to be a father, even I only know how my father has been with me, but if at some point I will be a father I know for sure who to ask for advice. So, for now I would leave the advice to those who really have experience. From my experience I simply say that I was not as good a son as my father thinks I was, but he has been a better father than perhaps I have shown him to be.
