RE: How to detect a bogus teaching job in Thailand
All they want is a white face in the classroom so they can milk parents for their children's English Program This is extremely true. I remember how much was put into making the brochure and advert boards

RE: Police arrest foreign prostitutes in Bangkok
They could do themselves a much better service by just being honest. Everyone that lives here and probably almost all of hte people that visit here are aware the prozzies are everywhere. It's a big part

RE: Embassies in Thailand warning their citizens to "behave"
There are only a couple of places in this country where the police actually do their jobs I'm afraid and those places have real trouble with a particular religious group that has for decades been trying

RE: Embassies in Thailand warning their citizens to "behave"
I don't think that most embassies, especially here anyway, actually do anything for their country's population. They are here for trade and something that benefits politicians.

RE: Embassies in Thailand warning their citizens to "behave"
I would say the police are rather non-responsive here as well. They don't really enforce any sort of traffic anything other than doling out fines that are clearly for revenue generation. I've never heard

RE: Sadaw. A stinky bean that you should definitely try at least once
Very high up on the tree. So high that I would imagine there are people that have died trying to get to it. If you wait for it to fall it is already rotten apparently.

RE: The terrible state of the rental market in Da Nang, Vietnam
Furnished apartments are really not a thing here but when you do get some scraps left behind they tend to be shite like you have in your pictures. Lol, that kind of looks like a brothel of sorts or the

I think we have something similar in South Africa, but never knew they were edible. It can't be the same thing then.

RE: Three new VF3's
we do not have these here but they do seem somewhat similar to a Suzuki that was similar in size and also was a lot more affordable than other cars. It wasn't 10k though, maybe like 15 or so. I don't know,

RE: Why the suburbs of Chiang Mai is a great place for an expat to live
I have seen some people that are clearly from Bangladesh or India working cons as well. I don't know these obvious work-permit-less people get away with it. They must pay off the cops or something.

Do you speak Afrikans? I bet you do. Some of the South Africans I have met are able to hold down a conversation in Dutch as well as long as the Dutch person doesn't get too fancy with the words

Maybe I just lucky but my neighbors are so quiet I thought the unit was vacant for a while. Turns out they are just Korean.

man you are definitely correct about the touts. It's to the point where I actively avoid going to those places or will put on some giant headphones just be left alone.

RE: Smokey season update for Chiang Mai
well come on over sometime. I think the best time of year here is between November and Feb when this part of Thailand is considerably cooler than the rest of the country.
