It's so nice to be here amongst you
And yes it's my first time here
Words alone can't experess how excited i am, I've been wanting to be a part of you, i longed for it till an extent of trying to learn how to crotchet at least.
And I'm thrilled to share with you my first crotchet work or should i say my first successful crotchet work because countless times, I've tried crotcheting but I usually end it halfway but I'm excited this one finally lasted till the end
I've been learning on my own for a while now to crotchet and gradually i find it interesting, it has been my company for a period of time although i haven't done anything complete except this earrings and I'm so proud of myself although it isn't a perfect Job but i believe i could do better with time
I used these materials in making it
- A blue wool
- A knitting or crotchet pin
- A scissors
- Earring jump ring
Here are the steps
Firstly i used my pinkie or little finger to roll my wool around 8 times
Followed by that, i started making a single crotchet using my crotchet pin , i knitted all round the whole which was a total of thirty (30) single crotchet, and the shape it gave me a unique shape that motivated me to continue
At the point where i stopped, i made a slip chain to enable and total circle with no knots and then i made five (5) s chains
I counted and skipped four holes and then inserted my knitting pin in the fifth hole and the did a single crochet
Again i did 5 chains, these five chains and skipping holes enabled the earrings to have holes
I then skiped another 4 spaces and inserted it in the fifth space and then did a single crotchet
I then did another 5 chains and then inserted it in the fifth hole and again till i had 5 holes in total
I then did a single chain and turned to now work with the holes, i inserted and knitted a single crotchet for a start in the first hole
After the single crochet, in the same hole, i inserted a doubled crotchet
And i did another double crochet before proceeding to making an abnormal crotchet , this particular step give it a pointed look
After that, i went back to a doubled crotchet and then a single crochet
I then proceeded to the second hole , i made a single crotchet, a double crochet twice, an abnormal crotchet, a doubled crotchet twice, a single crochet again
I continued in all the holes till i completed all the holes
I then cut out the left wool and inserted my earrings jumper
After the first earring was completed, i proceeded to the second earring and repeated the whole process over again till i finished
That's how i finally did my first crotchet project 鉂わ笍
I've achieved something finally and I'm excited
