I put my drawing on a frame and thought the space around was a bit too much. For the first time I decided to put a border!

Borders make an image look more appealing, emphasized and formal. Other borders can be simple and ornate ones are creative. This adds to the aesthetics of the image or whatever subject you're working with.

For the Border

You can select any design you want. Decide which is best and practice it.
Materials

• Pencil or mechanical pencil
• Eraser
• Pen (0.05 fine tip)

Process ✏️

This is my drawing, this is a better image than the previous I've posted.

I put it in a frame and I thought the space is too wide

The frame is white with touches of gold paint. It looks antique like so I thought an ornate border would look good.

#1 draw lines

Just draw straight lines, I measured it one inch.

#2 sketch design

Draw another line in between the edge of the paper and the original border and draw your design.

#3 ink design

Ink it.

• Be careful and be consistent
• Using pen is tricky so make sure the ink runs even
• Wipe the tip so it doesnt blotch
• Erase properly
