I like to think I am generous and sometimes thoughtful and quick to help others when I can, but it is not unique to me. You see, I was born into and raised in a generous family, where it just seemed normal to be that way. If someone needs help, you help, in whatever way that is, if you have the means or ability to do so. It is not a super power, it is what normal should be.

Once again, the world according to me ! 馃槉

Wednesday afternoon I received an email from my sister Vicky. The subject line was "Dee-livereeeee!" and the only thing in the body of the email was this photo of a bouquet of flowers sitting on the little table on my back deck.

I already showed you on my last post that the day before my Mom had dropped off some amazing fresh summer corn and tomatoes. This was my lucky week... wasn't it??

The flowers are from our favorite local flower farm. If you've been with me for a while you may remember that I had signed up last year for auto-delivery last summer and had fresh flowers brought to my door every other week. I didn't do the same for myself this year, but my Sis and I gave Mom a subscription for this year for Mother's Day and my sister has a subscription after having seen all the beautiful flowers I was receiving last year.

We simply LOVE this place.

Of course there had to be a photo session of some of the flowers in the bouquet.

The only hard thing about it after I took a gazillion photos was choosing which ones to post.

So beautiful far away as a total bouquet or close up here and there for some happy details.

What is not to love about flowers? I can't think of a thing, unless you are allergic. 馃槃

The beauty in the details.....

The next morning I took my vase of flowers to a table beside my work desk so that I could enjoy them while I worked.

At some point in the afternoon, it caught my attention that a ray of afternoon sun was playing on some of the flowers.

I stopped working 馃槃 , grabbed my phone and took a few more quick photos, sometimes turning the vase so the light would fall on different areas.

Below are three of this wonderful Zinnia that wears a yellow crown in the center.

...and then around to this full bright pink beauty. I loved the way the sun played on them.

The light from the window also drew my attention to the stems in the water. I liked the way it looked.

What also caught my eye was how the unfolding petals on this green flower caused there to be little heart shapes all around its edges.

So Sweet ! 馃挌

I was about to say it is Saturday morning here, because I started gathering the photos for this post right after 10:30 AM, but in fact it is now 2 hours later, so I have to say .... Good Afternoon !

I hope you have all had a pleasant week and are working on a very happy weekend. As you can see, my week has been full of sweet surprises.

I think it is about time I go enjoy another tomato sandwich. I didn't eat breakfast, so I suppose I'll start with lunch ! 馃槉

Whatever you are doing, make sure to remember I love you !
