Hello Jabeelievers!
Imagine using your favorite 'Speed is King' monsters only to be thwarted because of the ruleset. That's what happened to me the first time I encounter the Reverse Speed Ruleset. Did I cry? No. I just learned from my mistakes and found out, the best team to use is the Green Team. So lets look at the battle that I usually build when it comes to Reverse Speed.
Reverse Speed will cause monsters with the lowest speed stat to attack first than those with the highest speed. Low speed monsters will also enjoy attack accuracy causing monsters attacking it to miss frequently.
| Avoid | Reason |
|---|---|
| Bloodlust Monsters | Bloodlust will cause monsters to increase their speed stat. This is detrimental in Reverse Speed as it will attack slower the higher the speed takes. |
| Slow Ability | Do not use monsters with Slow ability as it will help your opponent. Decreasing the speed will cause them to attack first. |
| Swiftness Ability | This is counterintuitive. Making your monsters faster will not only cause them to attack later but also decreases their accuracy. |
| Conqueror Jacek | Randomness and Speed are the worst combination for this ruleset. No to Jacek. |
| Monsters with High Speed | This goes without saying but I'll say it again for clarity. |
Here is a battle that showcases Reverse Speed. Earth element is my go-to splinter for Reverse Speed. Most of the monsters have 1 speed and magic will go through armor.
This battle also demonstrates the Sustain strategy which uses Mycelic Slipspawn as the tank/taunt with Triage from Queen Mycelia and Uloth Dhampir.
