Tolu will always laugh at Temi because it's obvious that Temi is like a subrodinate to her.
This is the story of a poor girl who rose through some mischievous ways, penetrating through her friend whose family is wealthy.

The man is literally running a very big company.
They are always signing contracts of either web designing or they are installing CCTV in big industries and estates, contracts worth hundreds of millions.
Mr Bakare “I have got something to tell you but when the time is right” Mr Bakare tells his 25 years old daughter Tolu who happens to be his one and only child his love for her will make him go extra lengths to see she has got whatever she needs. Her welfare is well taken care of.
Temi, a good friend of Tolu, came from a family that we can say life is unfavorable to. They struggle through to get most of the basics they need for survival.
Tolu has been like a destiny helper to Temi until a sudden change happen.
All of a sudden Temi had almost everything figured out she no longer run to Tolu for assistance, she get things done by herself.
Temi all of a sudden began to live a life of luxury; her phone, bags, shoes and clothes are expensive, almost equivalent to what Tolu use to have.
Tolu will always ask how do you get the money you use in doing all what you do? But then one honest answer from Temi, “it's an old rich man I met just recently”.
The good life continued for a while, all effort from Tolu to meet her friend's lover was nullified as one excuse led to another.
Tolu was just happy that her friend finally got someone she did love and he is helping her to live a good lifestyle.
Temi began to notice some changes on her body, constant dizziness, swollen boobs and she was always spitting.
Tolu observed these changes and decided to talk to her friend about it.
“Have you noticed you are becoming bigger than you used to be?”
“The rate at which you sleep now is alarming.”
This was easy to dictate because Temi was always in Tolu’s house.
Temi, covered up excessiveness with the excuse of being stressed in school and the body increment with a life of comfort she got from her new lover.
It got to a stage of weakness. Temi began to experience weakness and found it difficult to carry out activities, she began to throw up.

Let's go to the hospital for a medical test.
Temi reluctantly accepted the offer as they both drove to the hospital, after some series of tests the results came and Temi was shocked that she was 5 weeks gone (pregnant).
The shock on her face was something else but to Tolu it was good news at least she will get to meet this Mr invincible at last.
“Call the father immediately,” Tolu suggested.
“Please hold on, this is not good” Temi said as she bowed her head reluctantly to the ground.

Yess.. I mean No, Temi startled as she responded to that question.
After much thought and silent response to numerous questions from Tolu to Temi they both decided to go back home.
Temi couldn't alter a word all through their drive.
On getting home Temi quickly rushed her house without a word to Tolu.
Temi spent 3 weeks without visiting Tolu.
Tolu tried to reach her but Temi practically was avoiding her.
Tolu decided to give that distance since her friend wouldn't want her to come close.

While she is still on it a voice note pops on the notification bar.
Tolu would have ignored it but the name attached to the voice note made her curious how Temi got along with my Dad to an extent of having his number.

She turned to see her dad standing right behind her, “You shouldn't have heard that” he whispered but “I am very sorry for not telling you about her”.

“Please forgive me, let's have a sweet family together.”
It was heart broken but then Tolu had no options than to accept her fate.
Her best friend turned out to be her step mum, very funny.
The most important thing is that they both loved each other and that's the only thing that matters.
