Fresh Air (5-Minute Freewrite Challenge)

I live near the beach, and I have the privilege to have fresh air. Unlike some places where people are struggling to obtain fresh air because of the pollution affecting the environment.

In big cities, pollution is a big problem. Inhaling fresh air is almost impossible. Smokes coming out of the vehicles, and those from factories are affecting the air quality in those places. Overpopulation is also contributing to air pollution.

In some places where there are wildfires such as in Australia, some parts of Amazon, and those unreported burning of mountains, fresh air is almost absent. The volcanic eruption in Southern Luzon, Philippines has affected the air as well.

In China, smog is also common. I remember seeing people with their masks on to protect themselves. I couldn't live in such places.

People with asthma, like me, will struggle in places with bad air quality. These are brought about by the incessant destruction of our environment. I hope someday, the entire earth will have fresh air. I believe it will happen. But for now, people should act to protect the earth from pollution.
