Burden
The government is making life harder for the people. Online sellers, SMEs (small and medium enterprises), and others are being targeted to pay advertising permits for online ads and promos. They're not earning much, and taxes have even gone up for the people. Yet, the government wants more money, even though we rarely see good results coming from our taxes.
Corruption is widespread in the country, and many politicians are doing anything to stay in power. Government money is not being used as it should be.
With such an additional burden from the government, people are facing a very difficult situation. The industry isn't growing because of the burden imposed by those in power. Life seems to be only about survival nowadays.
Monday
I have no plans going somewhere today, but probably I'll go to the clinic to deliver my wife's lunch. She's on duty as the doctor asked for her assistance. Meanwhile, I'm already doing the laundry. I hope to get everything done.
No Picking of Flowers
There are a lot of beautiful flowers in Mount Olis, mostly, I have seen for the first time. Of course, as a sign of respect, no picking of flowers despite no signs posted.
