Hello, my dear Hivers!
So today, I’m going to share with you that we had lunch with my friends. This lunch was after our research proposal defense.
This time, we weren’t stressed about where to eat because Johan immediately suggested there’s a new place somewhere nearby. So we asked if it was close, and luckily, it was nearby.
So Johan took the lead. When we arrived, I told Johan, “Hey, I’m familiar with this; they just moved here.” Johan said, “I think you’re right.” There were no other customers when we got there, so we looked for available seats and tables, and luckily there were enough for all eight of us.
At the center of the table, they had their sauces, very organized. At the food stall, one of the vendors, an older man, was slicing the ingredients like onions for the sauces.
Their dishes were already cooked, mostly fried viands. They also had rice wrapped in banana leaves. At first, Angelie thought it was like pastel (a Filipino dish with filling inside), but it turned out to be plain rice.
There were also sauces on the vendor’s table. Aside from extra sauces, they had plastic gloves available too. After we got our orders, we started eating and our tummies were all full.
After lunch, we didn’t go back to school yet; we went to Katrien’s house. When we arrived there was Dunkin Donuts and sliced bread on the table, and some of my friends ate those. I didn’t eat because I was already full.
After they finished eating, Lavester started karaoke here.
