So i have begun my Splinterlands journey. I am really excited i have been researching the best way to get started. In the end i have just thought just have a go and so thats what i did. So to start with you need to get out of Bronze 3 to earn any Rewards. To do this you need the required power rating and a collection power of 1000. So i went and rented cards using the credits from my purchase of the summoners spell book. I went to peakmonsters.com and focused mainly on fire monsters. I rented the following cards a decent summoner in Malric inferno Level 2 cheap mana cost of 3, Cerbrus for his healing ability he restores a portion of his health each round. 2 monsters which i use as bait and cost 0 mana they are really handy to have. These are Furious chicken which is a neutral card and can be used in any deck and scorch fiend a fire monster also costing 0. I really recommend those two as you can rent cheap and they cost 0 to cast, really useful when you dont have a lot of mana to play with.
Using my credits i bought a blue creature in venari wavesmith gold foil he brings a collection power of 500. For me i think hes a great purchase and will hold his value for years to come. I am trying to purchase cards when i have the funds as i dont want to be renting cards forever. This is due to owners of the cards your renting can cancel your rental agreement at any time. This could leave you without the required power you need and you could really drop down in the leagues and not earn the rewards.
I'm currently in Bronze 2 my aim is to get to silver 3 i think thats achievable. But so far im really enjoying the game, doing the daily quests to earn the chest. Ive earned 3 so far the best reward i got was a legendary potion. I'm looking forward to the end of season rewards im looking at 7 chests at the moment as im in Bronze 3.
