Nothing is what it seems, does that phrase ring a bell? Perspectives can lead you to the right when the path is to the left, stay and read this story and you will see what I am talking about.
The morning was splendid and the scorching sun gave indications that it would be a good day, one of great calm in this vast sea of clear and calm waters, the boat was still and the crew watched all sides, perhaps waiting for the exact moment to throw the net and thus catch the fish, these fish that come curious and fall into the trap of the sailors.
A shout was enough for everyone to square up, they moved like ants, each one knew his job, I have never seen such a perfect organization, some to the left and others to the right without even colliding with each other, at the count of three the net fell into the sea, it submerged quickly and the crew rested waiting to raise it to see the booty that had entered it.
Everything was calm until a small white shark made its glimpses, a curious and inveterate target for the sailors of the fishing boat, how long had it been since they had seen another specimen? They set off and grabbed their harpoons, the shark tried to get lost in the sea, the clear waters allowed them to see it even if it submerged, they threw the harpoons looking for the chance to hit it in some part of its body.
In the hustle and bustle one of the sailors fell into the water, I thought they would forget the little one to go to the aid of his companion, but their eagerness to capture him was greater, I left my side as an observer and went to the aid of the needy, I arrived just in time for the harpoon to pierce me.
I stood there badly wounded watching the pool of blood next to me, watching the boat leave with a full net, its sailor safely carrying my fin, the storm was dropping perhaps to cover my tears, was there any need to tear it off?
Animals have feelings, no matter their species, maybe whatever is on your plate tonight will come to claim its unjust death, by the way what were you eating?
Thank you for reading and entering the beginning of your nightmare.
