Hello everyone, friends.
My cousin's daughter won the Turkish Language and Literature Department at Erzincan University this year. Last month, we went to Erzinca with his family to see him.
However, in this post, I will tell you about my Sivas trip, which we stopped on the way back, rather than in Erzincan.
We set off on Saturday night. We were in Erzincan in the morning. We visited my cousin in his dormitory. We did some shopping in Erzincan. We did a small city tour. We found İzmir boyoz in Erzincan and had our breakfast. Then we said goodbye to my cousin and went on our way back.
The first destination was plaster.
As soon as we entered Sivas, we went to the congress building in the city center.
It's incredible that it still maintains the air of that day. It started to impress me from the outside.
I couldn't wait to tour the congress building. It was also exciting to visit this building, especially from the eyes of a history teacher.
From now on, while I am telling my students about the Sivas Congress, what I saw on this trip will come to life in my eyes.
It was incredibly beautiful and exciting to see the table Atatürk sat at, to visit the places he visited, to visit his room.
There was a carriage used by our father in the Congress Building. We had the opportunity to take a picture of him.
The plate is interesting. I've never seen a phaeton with license plates before, and I don't think there was a license plate application in those years. Maybe it was added later.
Then we examined the table where Congress decisions were taken. Who knows what great discussions and speeches were made around that table. The country we live in today was founded with the great efforts of a group of people gathered around this table.
The table I was examining with these thoughts began to look even more magnificent.
Afterwards, we examined Atam's table.
I had the opportunity to see the items used by Atatürk in Anıtkabir, but the congress center impressed me much more.
There was also a wax statue of our Ancestor, of course, I took a photo of him. It was a very well done wax sculpture.
!
If the cost was cheap or I could do it, I would definitely want to put something like this in my home, in my school. Not being able to see him alive eases the sadness a little bit.
I loved everything I saw. I visited a building that smells like history. It is a place I would like to visit again later. If I had the opportunity, I would take all my students for a tour, just like Çanakkale. A must see place.

Sivas'a girer girmez şehir Merkezinde bulunan kongre binasına gittik.
