Happy Weekend, welcome to my blog, Today I will tell you about my concert weekends.
My oldest daughter a few years ago, in 2014, 2013 approximately wanted to try in the world of music, I took her to an audition at the athenaeum of Coro. I will tell you that I agreed to take her, but the truth is I had no hope that she would pass the audition, I feel that as a mom I failed, because I prepared her so that she would not feel bad if she was not called, I assumed that since neither her dad nor I are musicians, nor my parents or siblings, she would not have qualities for music either.
Big mistake I made as a mom, I felt bad, when they gave the results with my daughter's name on the list, and so began her adventure in this world of art.
Violin recital
My daughter has shown not only me, but everyone, how talented she is. She studied theory and solfeggio the first year, and was asked what instrument she would choose, I liked the Cello but she liked the violin, so that was the instrument she started studying.
It will either be the baby Mozart I listened to while she was in my womb, or a blessing that she is doing so well in this world. For her it is her life, for me it is my joy.
Since she is a musician and chorister, many of my weekends are filled with classical music, we get ready and go to the Harmony Theater, or the Omar Hurtado Theater to offer her our support and even cry.
In this particular one it was a recital of the violin chair, and I will tell you that I felt very nervous and very proud of my daughter when I heard her, my tears came out of emotion.
She is now in the youth orchestra, she is first violin and belongs to the Regional Choir of Falcon, both belonging to the national music system.
After each event we share a meal or an ice cream, so we celebrate together her learning process and achievements in this area. She wants to continue and I will always be here to support her. .
