Interesting question about this theme, children/garden. One of my efforts to educate about gardening is quite simple. I have a display case in a local market place, selling gardening kit products for kids/toodlers. Educating about how to grow vegetables at home.
My goal is only one, that this message is conveyed well to kids/toodlers about the fun experience of growing plants/vegetables at home. Especially quality time with parents, as one way to spend quality time.
Basically, kids/toodlers are great imitators. They really like to imitate what adults do, especially parents/family/older siblings. This is a golden opportunity to learn and witness how plants can grow well.
I prepare various qualified equipment for plants/vegetables to live well. In one fairly simple box, the contents are seeds, planting media/soil, mini pots, mini scoops, and a piece of paper containing step by step gardening. Especially with seeds, I deliberately chose easy and fast growing ones like water spinach and pakcoy.
Many people ordered this product, especially as a birthday souvenir, even the sales of this product exceeded my expectations. I also contributed to a school near my house, to educate planting plants once a semester.

Not only that, I also prepared another product for beginners, especially kids aged 5-10 years by making gardening tools like this. Its small shape can help in the garden, the role of parents is to educate and I prepare equipment like this to help.
Even though I don't have children yet, I am very happy when all parents try to introduce how to garden, because the more modern the development of the era, we still need vegetables, plants and fruits to stay alive. In fact, AI cannot replace all of that to be digested in the body.
Hopefully everyone can understand that gardening is an interesting and fun thing to do.
