So, our electricity came back, but then our downstairs AC broke! I woke up yesterday morning and it was already 85 degrees in the house downstairs. It reached a heat index of 113 degrees during the day. The repair person said they weren't able to come by until Friday so The Shane watched some You Tube videos and figured out that it was a capacitor issue. He went to the hardware store and picked one up for $25 and had it installed in about 10 minutes! The crazy part is that repair apparently could have cost us up to $500 if we had to have a professional fix it.
In other news, the house is in complete disarray and my cats are doing absolutely nothing about it.
