Bitcoin: Missed Chances, Milestones, and a Smile Through the Chaos
Bitcoin has been on a wild rollercoaster ride since its early days, and anyone looking back can’t help but chuckle (or cry) at the missed opportunities.
Here’s a quick look at some Bitcoin milestones:
2010: $0.01 – The coin was barely worth a penny.
2011: $1 – The first dollar! Dreams of riches could start here.
2013: $100 – Triple digits! Early adopters were celebrating.
2017: $1,000 → $19,000 – The first real mainstream hype.
2020: $10,000+ – Institutional money enters the scene.
2021: $60,000+ – Bitcoin madness at its peak.
2025: Around $112,000 – Still a long way from those peaks, but far from the starting line.
Looking back, if I had bought Bitcoin at $1, I’d probably have freaked out and sold at $20, thinking I had just won the lottery. And now? Seeing the later highs makes me want to scream—and then laugh at my past self.
The funny part is: I’m actually glad I didn’t start at the very beginning. If I had, the stress, panic, and sleepless nights during the crazy swings would have given me more gray hair than I already have.
Fazit: Bitcoin is a wild ride full of missed chances, crazy highs, and humbling lows. The moral? Sometimes missing out is actually a blessing, and laughing at our own “what ifs” makes the ride more enjoyable.
