After eating an American lunch of Fish & chips and hamburgers on the California side of the state line, we walked across the street to the Nevada Casino on the other side, where there was a large Arcade in the basement. My daughter could play video games, while my husband and I could play the slot machines in the casino lobby on the first floor.

My daughter said that her card still had a remaining balance enough to play one more game, so we played again, so much fun!
在赌场里面玩了一个小时，我说去打Pickle ball 好了。 在出门之前，我看到网络上有人介绍可以去South Lake Tahoe 城市的Recreation Center 里面打Pickle ball， 我就叫先生把我们的球拍带上。 开车去了那里，走入Recreation center, 工作人员说每个人付入门费$6美元，就可以去到旁边的大gym任打。 那时里面一个人都没有， 我们把网放在pickle ball球场的中间线就对打起来，两人一来一往的打的十分激烈，太过瘾了。
After playing in the casino for an hour, I said go play pickle ball. Before we decided to go Lake Tahoe, I saw someone on the Internet recommending that we could go to the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center to play pickle ball, so I asked my husband to bring our paddles. We drove there and walked into the Recreation center. The staff said that each person pays an entrance fee of $6, and then we could play in the big gym down to the hall. At that time, there was no one inside, we put the net on the middle line of the pickle ball court and started playing. The two of us played back and forth very intensely, which was very enjoyable.

At the beginning of this year, there was record-breaking rain in Northern California, and record-breaking snowfall on the mountains. Now the snow on the mountains has almost melted away, and the water level of Lake Tahoe has risen a lot. We only see the stones on the shore, and we could no longer see the sand on the beaches.
