Hello! What you get to see here is my first set of Wildlife Photography. It takes a certain amount of luck to come across animals that can be photographed. In my case it takes twofold luck, first I have to find an animal at all and second I must not scare it away because at the time of the pictures I was armed only with an 18-55 mm lens.
The animal belongs to the Agamidae family and I suspect it is a Forest Crested Agama. I had to use Google Lens to help with the identification.

Hallo! Was ihr hier zu sehen bekommt, ist mein erstes Set Wildlife Photography. Dazu gehört ein gewisses Glück, um auf Tiere zu stoßen, die fotografiert werden können. In meinem Fall braucht es zweifaches Glück, einmal muss ich ein Tier überhaupt finden und zum anderen darf ich es nicht verschrecken, weil ich zu dem Zeitpunkt der Bilder nur mit einem 18-55 mm Objektiv bewaffnet war.
Das Tier gehört zur Familie der Agamen und ich vermute es ist eine Forest Crested Agama. Ich musste Google Lens zur Hilfe nehmen für die Identifikation.

Well camouflaged the little fellow. Could you find him at first go in the picture? The skin color fits amazingly well with the bark of the tree.
Gut getarnt der kleine Bursche. Konntet ihr ihn auf Anhieb im Bild finden? Die Hautfarbe passt erstaunlich gut zur Rinde des Baumes.

Just as I was watching him, the agama was also watching me.
So wie ich ihn im Blick hatte, beobachtete mich die Agame auch.
At some point, however, the fun was over. As you could see, the left leg moved. From here on he went upwards. And away he was :)
Irgendwann war dann aber Schluss mit lustig. Wie ihr sehen könnte bewegte sich das linke Bein. Von hier an ging es nach oben. Und weg war er :)
Thanks for stopping by! I myself am quite happy to see that an 18-55 mm can give good results here. I recently got a 55-200mm lens, so everything should be easier in future and also more comfortable for the animal. See you!
Danke für das vorbeischauen! Ich selber bin recht happy zu sehen, dass eine 18-55 mm hier gute Resultate liefern kann. Seit kurzem besitze ich eine 55-200 mm Objektiv, damit sollte alles einfacher werden und auch angenehmer für das Tier. Bis dann!
