Saludos querida comunidad, feliz #needleworkmonady, el mes de Julio fue bastante productivo y el ultimo encargo del mes fue uno de los que mas me han gustado, pues se contactó conmigo una odontóloga vía Whatsapp, no se quien le dio muy numero pero estoy agradecida de que me hayan recomendado, ella deseaba que le hiciera un Ratón Pérez y yo feliz de poder cumplir con la encomienda, ella me envió una imagen de referencia la cual no imité a cabalidad, sino que también agregué mis toques personales para que luciera aún mejor, el resultado me gustó mucho y lo mejor es que a la cliente también 😊

Greetings dear community, happy #needleworkmonady! July was quite productive, and the last order of the month was one of my favorites. A dentist contacted me via WhatsApp; I don't know who gave her my number, but I'm grateful for the recommendation. She wanted me to make a Tooth Fairy, and I was happy to fulfill her request. She sent me a reference image, which I didn't exactly copy, but I also added my own personal touches to make it look even better. I really liked the result, and the best part is that the client did too! 😊

Para este amigurumi trabajé con doble hebra de hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 2.25mm, comencé con el cuerpo en color gris desde los pies a la cabeza, con 4 cadenas de base inicié los pies, hice aumentos en las esquinas por 3 hileras para obtener 22, hice dos hileras sin aumentos y luego disminuciones solo en la punta del pie por 3 hileras hasta obtener 12, continué la pierna con 8 hileras de 12 puntos bajos. Hice las dos piernas iguales y las uní por 2 cadenas y una hilera de puntos bajos. Hice 4 aumentos por 3 hileras hasta obtener 42, hice 8 hileras de 42 puntos bajos y luego hice 3 disminuciones por 4 hileras.

Aparte hice los brazos con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, 6 aumentos y una hilera con 4 aumentos, hice 3 hileras de 16 puntos bajos, 4 disminuciones por 2 hileras para obtener 8 y continué el brazo con 10 hileras de 8 puntos bajos. Uní los brazos al cuerpo con 2 hileras de puntos bajos, luego hice una hilera con 8 disminuciones y una con 6 disminuciones para obtener 18, hice dos hileras de 18 puntos bajos.

For this amigurumi, I worked with double strands of acrylic yarn and a 2.25mm crochet hook. I started with the body in gray, from head to toe. With a foundation chain of 4, I began the feet, increasing at the corners for 3 rows to reach 22 stitches. I worked two rows without increases and then decreased only at the toes for 3 rows to reach 12 stitches. I continued the leg with 8 rows of 12 single crochet stitches. I made both legs the same and joined them with 2 chains and a row of single crochet stitches. I increased 4 stitches for 3 rows to reach 42 stitches, worked 8 rows of 42 single crochet stitches, and then decreased 3 stitches for 4 rows.

Separately, I made the arms with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring, 6 increases, and a row with 4 increases. I made 3 rows of 16 single crochet stitches, 4 decreases for 2 rows to get 8, and continued the arm with 10 rows of 8 single crochet stitches. I joined the arms to the body with 2 rows of single crochet stitches, then made a row with 8 decreases and one with 6 decreases to get 18, and made two rows of 18 single crochet stitches.

La cabeza debía tener el hocico bastante puntiagudo por lo que comencé con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo e hice 3 aumentos por 8 hileras, luego hice 6 aumentos solo en la mitad por 3 hileras para obtener 48, hice 11 hileras de 18 puntos bajos, para cerrar hice 8 disminuciones por 5 hileras. Las orejas las hice con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, 6 aumentos pro 2 hileras y una hilera si aumentos, hice dos partes la del frente con el centro rosado, las uní por 18 puntos bajos y las cosí a la cabeza.

The head needed to have a rather pointed snout, so I started with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring and made 3 increases for 8 rows. Then I made 6 increases in the middle for 3 rows to get 48 stitches. I made 11 rows of 18 single crochet stitches, and to close it I made 8 decreases for 5 rows. I made the ears with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring, 6 increases for 2 rows and one row without increases. I made two parts, the front one with the pink center, joined them with 18 single crochet stitches, and sewed them to the head.

Para el overol hice 44 cadenas dobles de base y las cerré en círculo, hice 5 hileras de puntos bajos, en la sexta hilera dejé el agujero para pasar la cola, hice una hilera más de 44 puntos bajos, 4 disminuciones por 2 hileras y una hilera de 36 puntos bajos, dividí en dos partes y continué cada parte con 4 hileras de 18 puntos bajos. Para la pechera levanté 10 puntadas e hice 7 hileras de puntos bajos, mientras que para los tirantes hice 20 cadenas doble de base y una hilera de puntos bajos dejando el agujero para el botón. Para agregar mas detalles se me ocurrió hacer una muela para que la sostuviera con sus brazos 😊

For the overalls, I made 44 double crochet chains and joined them into a ring. I worked 5 rows of single crochet, and in the sixth row, I left a hole for the tail. I worked another row of 44 single crochet, 4 decreases every 2 rows, and a row of 36 single crochet. I divided the piece into two parts and continued each part with 4 rows of 18 single crochet. For the bib, I chained 10 stitches and worked 7 rows of single crochet, while for the straps, I made 20 double crochet chains and a row of single crochet, leaving a hole for the button. To add more detail, I decided to make a tooth for her to hold in her arms 😊
