Saludos querida comunidad, como les conté hace unos días atrás, una prima me encargó dos gorros para su hijo, así que hoy finalmente les comparto el segundo de estos, para el cual usé una lana acrílica de color marrón claro y dos agujas de 4.5mm.

Greetings dear community, as I told you a few days ago, a cousin asked me to make two hats for her son, so today I am finally sharing the second one, for which I used light brown acrylic yarn and two 4.5mm needles.

Comencé montando 90 puntos y 2 de orillo, los orillo se trabajaban de la siguiente manera, el primero se pasa a la aguja de la derecha sin tejer y el último siempre se hace en punto derecho en todas las hileras, de ese modo queda mucho mas fácil paga coser los laterales al final.

En este gorro hice 14 hileras de punto elástico 1/1, es decir, 1 punto derecho y 1 punto al revés sucesivamente y hacer los puntos según corresponden en las siguientes hileras, en la hilera 14 hice 14 aumentos para obtener 104 sin contar orillos.

I started by casting on 90 stitches and 2 edge stitches. The edges were worked as follows: the first stitch was slipped to the right needle without knitting, and the last stitch was always knit on every row. This made it much easier to sew the sides together later.

For this hat, I worked 14 rows of 1x1 ribbing, meaning knit one stitch, purl one stitch, and then work the stitches as indicated on the following rows. On row 14, I increased 14 stitches to reach a total of 104 stitches, not counting the edges.

Para el motivo hice cuadros de 8 puntos en punto elástico 2/1 por 12 hileras, y cuadros de 8 puntos en santa clara (todos al derecho) por 12 hileras, separados entre si por 5 puntos de cada lado en punto salta clara, alternando los cuadros cada 6 hileras para que se vieran como un patrón de ladrillos.

For the motif I made squares of 8 stitches in 2/1 rib stitch for 12 rows, and squares of 8 stitches in garter stitch (all knit) for 12 rows, separated from each other by 5 stitches on each side in garter stitch, alternating the squares every 6 rows so that they looked like a brick pattern.

Repetí el motivo por 74 hileras y luego hice 16 disminuciones cada 6 hileras por tres veces, luego hice disminuí en todos los puntos por dos hileras, cerré en círculo y fruncido, cosí pos laterales para finalizar . Me gustó mucho el resultado y hoy vino la prima a recogerlo e igual estaba muy contenta por los gorros.

I repeated the pattern for 74 rows, then decreased 16 stitches every 6 rows three times, then decreased in every stitch for two rows, closed in the round and gathered, and sewed the sides to finish . I really liked the result and my cousin came to pick it up today and she was just as happy with the hats.
