Mi gato Rayitas al igual que su hermano Blacky según mis cálculos este mes cumplen un año de edad, pronto los llevaré a esterilizar a ambos, pero algo que me tiene un poco preocupada es que Rayitas no creció igual de grande que su hermano, al principio sospechábamos que Blacky le podría estar robando la comida y por eso no crecía al mismo ritmo, por eso empezamos a darles de comer por separado y cuidándo de que ninguno fuera a comer del plato de su hermano, pero con el pasar de los meses la diferencia de tamaño siguió siendo muy notable.

Los testículos de Rayitas fueron visibles mucho mas tarde que los de su hermano, pero aun así sucedió y no veo ningún problema en su desarrollo ademas de su tamaño, poco a poco con las desparasitaciones fue mejorando desde que lo sacamos de la calle y le dimos un hogar y ahora es el mas tierno de todos mis gatos.

Cuando lo lleve al veterinario le preguntaré a la doctora si puede existir alguna razón importante para la diferencia de tamaño, pero por ahora por medio de una búsqueda en la web soy consciente que puede deberse a que cuando estaban en la calle y su mamá los amantaba puede que los demás hermanos lo hayan dejado sin su leche y eso frenó su desarrollo a temprana edad, pero también puede deberse a factores genéticos, es decir, que puede que solo sean medio hermanos y al tener un padre diferente también sea diferente el tamaño entre ellos, me inclino mas esta ultima hipótesis pero esperaré a la opinión de la especialista.

When I take him to the vet, I'll ask the doctor if there could be any significant reason for the size difference, but for now, through a web search, I'm aware that it could be because when they were on the street and their mother was nursing them, the other siblings might have left him without milk, which stunted his early development. However, it could also be due to genetic factors; that is, they might only be half-siblings, and having a different father could also explain the size difference between them. I'm more inclined to believe this last hypothesis, but I'll wait for the specialist's opinion.
