You really want to see a human party? Fine, it's your funeral pal, proverbially speaking. I know you guys have a tropical world of a planet that is utterly harmless to them, I think it's what, only a level 1 deathworld at most? And you've expansive, warm, oceans. Tell them you'll foot the bill, and they'll throw a party like you've never seen before. Though they'll at least make it fun for you, too. They're nice like that. -- BKF

There's traditionally two ways to have a legendary party with a miles-wide splash zone. The first is to post on social media that one's parents are not at home for an extended period of time. The other is to publicise a location, a time window, and an entreaty to bring enough treats for everyone. Or at least a significant portion of 'everyone'.

It was a "friendly" Deathworld. One where only the occasional tropical storm was a major concern. A group of the curious had pooled resources and skills to prepare the uninhabited planetoid for the spectacle. A CRC medical ship was on standby in orbit. There were basic shelters and hygeine facilities on the largest landmass. And a few pop-up kits on neighbouring islands because Humans did like to explore.

They couldn't go much further than that, could they?

The first Humans arrived five days before the actual commencement time and immediately set up some barbecues whilst gathering and hunting the local edible flora and fauna. Someone set up a Tiki Bar in the main party zone. They had already brought along a couple of barrels of their own booze.

Everyone brought along their favourite party music. And more than a few means to play it. A couple of engineers figured out an island-wide speaker system and a cusp-intelligent system to randomise the music and give people a break to relax at reasonable intervals.

People brought way more food and alcohol than seemed sensible. Quickly stockpiled in improvised distribution stations. Nobody knows who brought in the fireworks and everyone involved denied having any.

The party started a full four hours before the appointed time. Since Humans are both impatient and eager to let off steam.

To make a long story short, the party soon elevated the level one Deathworld to level three. It was that kind of party.
