What is it?

Time for my weekly contest inspired by a game we played with the kids at my niece's birthday one year, albeit slightly more advanced. As with all my contests they are simple enough, guess right and win.

What do you have to guess?

You need to guess this image. It’s a zoomed in shot from an actual object.

As always I aim to keep you guessing but interested for as long as possible, I hope this is tricky but doable. Make sure you give a detailed answer I am looking for the "exact type". If you can't be exact then be fun as I will be looking for the most interesting answer for a possible second @sbi share this week!

Last Week’s Contest

The fastest first was @yogajill who with the aid of an app got the right palm tree and where it was from originally. This was closely followed by @momogrow who also knew the exact plant type and noted that it was the seeds.

In my favourite pay it forward fashion, I have sent @yogajill's @sbi share, who this week also sponsored the @steem-bounty. She has also paid it forward by sponsoring the next fastest @momogrow. Surprise! Enjoy your extra upvote @momogrow!

The most common guesses were mouldy tomatoes and rosehips which I had to google as I had no clue what they were, but given I didn't know what this was when I took the image, it wasn't hard to do. It took me a while to find out where this plant was from and what it was called so maybe I need @yogojill's app to help me out in future posts :D.

Again the funniest and most creative was @bashadow who picked up a large chunk of the @steem-bounty, along with a @sbi share sponsored by @simplymike! @quillfire is hot on his tail and quickly becoming one of my fav guesses.

I give you all the Japanese Sago Palm! What an interesting yet kinda ugly tree... The seeds looked particularly interesting hence my excitement in photographing them.
