Hi everyone, these days with so much change in the weather, many of us have experienced periods of heat followed by periods of cold, and Sunday was definitely one of those very hot and especially sunny days. The thing is, this past week we didn't have a chance to get together with friends to cook something or just chat as we usually do; however, after spending some time lying in bed talking with my sister, we decided to do a quick tidy-up to clear our minds of what I think was a very strange day for many of us, given all the events that happened. I have a lot to think about, but I won't share them here; I'll just tell you about this quick getaway with my sister.

Hola a todos, en estos días con tanto cambio de clima, más de uno de nosotros ha estado con ratos de calor y otros de frío, y el domingo sin duda fue uno de esos muy calurosos y sobre todo soleados. La cosa es que esta semana que pasó no tuvimos oportunidad de reunirnos con amigos para cocinar algo o solamente conversar como veníamos haciendo; sin embargo, luego de estar un rato con mi hermana echadas en la cama hablando, decidimos dar un pequeño aseo de ida y vuelta para despejar la mente de lo que creo que fue un día muy raro para muchos por tantos acontecimientos que pasaron, que debo decir que tengo muchos pensamientos sobre estos, pero no los comentaré acá; solo les compartiré lo que fue esta pequeña salida express con mi hermana.

One of the things that got us out of the heat was my sister's suggestion to get some hot dogs, since it had been a while since we'd indulged in that. We also wanted to walk and get some exercise. We chose a small fast-food stand nearby, one of the few that usually stays open late on Sundays and had reasonable prices. Once we arrived, after figuring out the cost, we ordered two hot dogs and a small soda and sat down to enjoy them, while I watched a World Cup match on a small screen.

Una de las cosas que hicieron que saliéramos a estar del calor o el clima era que mi hermana me había dicho para ir a comer unos perritos calientes, ya que teníamos rato que no hacíamos esa travesura desde hace rato, y bueno, también caminar y mover un poco el cuerpo. Para esto, el sitio elegido es un pequeño puesto de comida rápida que está algo cerca y que es de los pocos que suele abrir hasta tarde en domingo y que también tenía precios accesibles, por lo que una vez llegamos y luego de calcular presupuesto, pedimos dos perritos calientes y un refresco pequeño y nos sentamos tranquilamente a degustar, mientras estaba algo entretenida viendo un partido del Mundial que tenían en una pequeña pantalla allí.

I have to say that something I really like about this place in particular is the bread they use for the hot burrito, since it is usually very, very soft and, personally, I don't like it when I bite into the bread that is too hard or crunchy because it hurts me a little, so that is one of the things I like about this place. Likewise, the girl gave us the sauces to add and these were barbecue, cheese and garlic, and the garlic one was mild, but very tasty, so we really enjoyed mixing the sauces and eating like any follower of the tradition of "sauce, bite and more sauce."

Tengo que decir que algo que me gusta mucho de este sitio en concreto es el pan que usan para el burrito caliente, ya que suele estar muy, muy suave y, personalmente, no me gusta cuando al morder el pan está demasiado duro o crocante porque me lastima un poco, por lo que es de las cosas que me gustan de este lugar. Así mismo, la muchacha nos pasó las salsas para añadirle y estas eran barbacoa, queso y ajo, y la de ajo estaba suave, pero muy rica, por lo que disfrutamos mucho de mezclar las salsas y comer como todo seguidor de la tradición de "salsa, mordisco y más salsa".

After this, we took the opportunity to walk a little towards my city square to rest sitting on the benches and, to my surprise, the place was very lonely, which is strange, since it is usually very busy on weekends, so it felt somewhat lonely; Even everything was very calm, just silent. Anyway, we were there for a while, then we walked a little more through some nearby streets and then we started the walk back. The truth is, it was a day of a quiet walk with a small meal, and it still recharged us quite a bit from that feeling of lack of energy that we had, although we completed it with a short nap when we got home, so without further ado it was a day to see and walk a little, but one of those that is necessary. Luego de esto, aprovechamos para caminar un poco hacia la plaza de mi ciudad para reposar sentadas en las bancas y, para mi sorpresa, estaba muy solo el sitio, lo cual es raro, ya que suele ser muy concurrido los fines de semana, por lo que se sintió algo solitario; incluso todo estaba muy calmado, solo en silencio. En fin, estuvimos un rato allí, luego caminamos un poco más por algunas calles cercanas y posteriormente emprendimos la caminata de regreso. La verdad, fue un día de una caminata tranquila con una pequeña comida, y que aun así nos recargó bastante de esa sensación de falta de energía que teníamos, aunque la completamos con una pequeña siesta al llegar a casita, por lo que sin más fue un día para ver y caminar un poco, pero de esos que son necesarios.
