Hello my friends, I hope you are having a good day. Even though I haven't been sharing TFT posts with you guys lately, I've actually been having some pretty good games and I'm almost reaching the Mastery cluster. I'm going to share with you one of the games I've been playing quite seriously, enjoy!
You can watch the video with commentary here:
The universe of this game is component item anvils. The name already says it all, there is no adventure, you start the game with just 2 component item anvils and you can make the items you want.
Usually I don't know what to play at the beginning of a game, but this game was different. I had a Samira and an Urgot at the start of the game and that meant I could play the Country composition. In this composition there are a lot of champions you need to make 3 stars and you will need gold. That's why I chose the Lucky Streak augment, which gives us an item called Gambler's Sword, which helps you get gold. You can already see how it works in the video.
Even though I didn't have any headliner champion, I managed to win all 5 rounds and that gave me a good win streak gold. Moreover, the gambler's sword gave me 5 gold in the process, so if it continues like this, I will have enough gold. All I need is to find a Country headliner.
In the 2nd augment choice I had good options. Since I won all the rounds and I wanted to keep winning, I needed to choose something that would strengthen me in battle, so I chose the Healing Orbs I augment. This augment allows my closest unit to regenerate 225 health when I kill an enemy unit. So my frontline will be more tanky.
I ended up winning the mid-game outright, and that's the kind of winning streak that starts in the early game and builds up to an incredibly good economy. I'm currently level 7 and have 50 gold. I can even be level 8 if I want, but the headliner I want is easier to find at level 7.
For the last augment, I chose Tons of attributes, which is also a fighting augment and gives all your champions a little bit of everything. It's not a great augment, but it's a good option when you want to play flexible and can't find the augment you're looking for.
After choosing the augment, I found the headliner I wanted, Country Samira. This should be the one you want the most in this composition. If you have a Country emblem you can play as 7 Country, which makes your composition much stronger, but if not you can play as 5 Country by removing Katarina. This is the way I play by the way. So if I'm not playing one of the reroll compositions, I spend my gold after picking the last augment and strengthen my board. I do this for every composition, Disco, Karthus, it doesn't matter.
In the patch I'm playing this game, the strongest composition is the one with sentry and Ahri together. So the one I shared with you last time. I tried to play it once and then I got away from it completely because every game was played by 10 people. One of the people playing this composition ended my winning streak. It's very frustrating.
Normally this composition is played by staying at level 7 and making all your 3 gold champions 3 stars. So, Samira, Urgot, Amumu, Vex and Sett. I went a different way but don't do what I did because it was a rookie move and my fault xd I still managed to kill someone playing Ahri.
Samira is the carrier of the composition and the best items you can give her are Infinity Edge, Giant Slayer and Last Whisper. So as offensive as possible. I didn't have that chance, so I gave her whatever offensive items I had. Your tank will be Thresh or Amumu, but potentially all your champions are tanking. You can also use Urgot and Vex as side carries. You can give your AP items to Vex and your other AD-Tank items to Urgot if you have any left.
My opponent who played Punk composition was not very strong, but then he managed to make all his champions 3 stars and became extremely strong. He was able to kill everyone he faced, even me! I managed to win by a very small difference!
My opponent was actually an Akali, Ahri composition that shouldn't have been that strong, but his augments were very good against me and it's the most popular composition in the meta.
I barely managed to beat him once, look at the damage Akali did! This has to be a joke haha. She was single-handedly killing all my champions and my champions could barely kill her because she was constantly moving and her ability was invulnerable.
I managed to win the last fight, albeit hard, and somehow Akali did a lot less work than before. I don't know if he moved the champion, but if you have a very strong Akali like this, make sure you don't put your carries in the corner. Even if you are playing target puppet or Illaoi, put his tentacles in the very corner. This way the champion will not be that strong.
Thanks a lot for reading, I hope you liked it. Please let me know in the comments what do you think about my composition. If you ever tried this game you can share your experiences as well. Have a nice day!
