Hi, guys!
So, for some reason, in my head, a new week began today. We had a scheduling problem last week. Usually on Fridays we play DND, but then it happened that our master needed to have an operation and he could not lead. Therefore, there was no DND on Friday, this happened only a couple of times in several years. And in my head the end of the week is not imprinted, and my brain frantically tries to orient itself in time. I seem to know that today is Tuesday, but my head refuses to understand it. Therefore, I constantly check my diary to see exactly what day it is.
Yesterday I showed the task of the third week, and today I received feedback on it. It was very pleasant that the teacher praised me, and separately praised me for the fact that I managed to complete all the tasks. It's very nice. There are some minor bugs, but overall my work was accepted, which is great.
Remember yesterday I told you that I found myself a flute and skateboarding tutor? I decided not to stop there, and found another guitar tutor. I think this is great. I have a lot of hobbies, and it is better for me to switch from work to something useful, I do not like to just lie on the couch, and I really like that I have come up with such a rest option for myself. Music is very calming (especially when you already know how to play) and I really enjoy practicing.
Also, I gradually understand that the gaps in the drawing that I am filling now are far from the only ones that need to be filled, and I am thinking of taking an additional sketching course.
This is a rather large load, but for some reason it is easier for me to live like this than to try to relax by force. If you know what I mean. This is a rather strange situation. I get very tired of drawing (apparently, the brain is actively working at these moments), and after that I want to switch to something. And as it turned out, classes with tutors are a great option. I seem to be resting, and I seem to be doing something useful, learning something new. When I'm just lying on the couch, I get a strong sense of guilt, and I can't rest normally.
And so it turns out that the best rest is a change of activity, and this is what I do. I haven’t agreed on my first guitar lesson yet, but I hope to do so soon.
I'm not new to this business, I've been playing for a long time. But I have no base, I can accompany myself when I sing, and now I want to consider the guitar as a separate instrument.
Today I brought a short video of me singing. It's Raistlin's aria from the musical "The Last Trial" based on Dragonlance book series.
And, of course, continuation of my DnD based fantasy book:
When they returned to the tavern, Ursula was already waiting for them.
-Did you succeed?
-It turned out, -said Lars, -There was a squad of goblins, which we exterminated. You have nothing to worry about anymore.
-Seriously? - the woman narrowed her eyes contemptuously, - Goblins howl now?
The druid shrugged. He had not prepared for this question, his new acquaintance was too occupied with his thoughts.
-Maybe they howl, out of longing, -Mark came to the rescue, -Now how about a reward for your hero? - He came close to Ursula, smiling unequivocally.
She pulled away, with a displeased expression on her face.
-I would like to see for myself that the village is no longer in danger.
-Do you want us to walk you to your destination? - Damian looked coldly at Ursula, he emphasized the words "place", not on "you."
-Me, and a few priests from the local religious order. They want to cleanse him of filth.
-What makes you think that there is filth? - the magician still kept his tenacious, cold eyes the color of a storm in the ocean.
“The priests feel when something is unclean,” she replied.
-Priests of what god? What is your order here, in a village forgotten by the big world? - Damian did not change either in face or intonation.
-You are talking about my homeland, -Ursula raised her voice slightly, -I want to protect her.
-From whom?
-From evil.
-This is a very global definition.
-But still. I just know that what has embarrassed my fellow countrymen for so long ... What has not left a single reconnaissance detachment alive cannot be good.
-Are you sure it's evil? Maybe just hungry? -Elf again focused on the last word.
See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
