Hi, guys!
Today looking in my planner I suddenly thought: may be I should write another post about it? May be someone yet heard nothing about magical system and I can help a bit with sharing information I use?
So, about time management again:)
I use system that was created by Yana Frank. It's an awesome artist and illustrator from Berlin, and she also is an author of books, and one of them is dedicated to time management. It's called "365 days of a very creative person".
The main tip this book gives to us is dividing your day in intervals of 45 and 15 minutes. You work for 45 minutes and you do something different for 15 minutes, the you repeat it as many times as you need. It's vital to completely change your activity for these 15 minutes. Meaning: 45 minutes of work on a computer/15 minutes of Facebook is a bad solution. 45 minutes of work/15 minutes of tidying up - good solution. I work like this about 8 hours a day, and in the end of it I'm still fresh, my house is clean, my supper is ready. And a lot of work is done!
Believe me, it really is a system to try.
Yana also recommends to find out how much time your activities actually take. You can be really surprised with that. I can recommend "aTimeLogger" app (free to download from Play Market). It's really handy when it comes to fixing your time intervals for whatever you need.
I hope this short article was handy:)
Love, Inber
