Hi, guys!
Today, quite unexpectedly, I found myself at home. Although it shouldn't have been. Several events that happened in the hospital yesterday led to this. First of all, a new patient was admitted to the next ward. When Tanya came to me, who was lying in the ward before that, I saw that she was very sad. I wondered what had happened, and it turned out that this new patient immediately wanted to turn on the TV. When she came out, she asked me "And your TV does not work either?" I replied that I had a degree in art historian, not archaeologist, so I could not find out if the TV was working. I have not used it for the last 20 years, and her desire to turn on the TV in the room where there is another patient besides her is disgusting.
But she did not calm down, and in the first few hours of her stay in the department she managed to get to the head herself. True, the manager understood our situation, that we didn’t want to be bothered by the TV, but still said that we had a kind of hostel here. Yeah, the hostel, I thought, it means not a hospital. So why is it possible to get drunk and smoke in the windows, since this is not a hospital, but just a hostel? But the most surprise was waiting for me at night. It turned out that this terrible woman also snores terribly. I can't stand the sound of snoring, especially now when I have very bad sleep and a very unstable state. Therefore, in the morning, the first thing I did was write to my husband to pick me up, regardless of whether I finished the treatment or not.
It took half a day to sort out all the formalities, but now I am finally at home, and this is terribly unusual. I still do not feel very well, but now I will finish the treatment on an outpatient basis, with my attending physician, whom I have been seeing for the past five years. I think we can do it easily and naturally, but in any case, I still have the opportunity if something goes wrong to go to the same hospital and return to the same ward. But I hope that it will not come to this, although my husband is very worried about it.
I think that tomorrow I can make a post in which I will write all the results of my stay in a psychiatric clinic. Now everyone is summing up the results of the year, but perhaps the most important result I will name is that I will be able to celebrate the New Year at home, and not in a psychiatric hospital. And this is already good. As for everything else, I think I can handle it perfectly. I also plan to make an appointment with a psychotherapist in order to start sorting out the deposits of my psyche that no longer concern a medical, but a purely emotional state. And I plan to devote the New Year to this work, to finally understand myself and my head. It won't affect my psychiatric diagnosis in any way, but hopefully it will affect everything else.
See you in the next post!
