It's been a while since I posted an update. Here is a quick preview of my progress on the Hive Attention Tokens sidechain so far.
Testnet
There is now a testnet node up at https://hat-testnet.imwatsi.com/
It has limited features for now, but upgrades will be coming in every few days.
It also resets the blockchain every now and then during this iterative phase.
I expect to be in testnet for at least 3-5 months.
Block explorer
You can now explore the HAT chain using this block explorer:

The chain is still being produced by one node, as the consensus code is still a work-in-progress.
- Transactions: for now, you'll see test transactions being generated by a script I have running.
- Accounts: I have a few test accounts I'm using to transact on the chain, balances and token info is mock data from the API for now, I'll release the features in a few days when I have ironed out a few issues
Interacting with the sidechain
In the next week, I will publish documentation detailing how to activate your Hive account on the HAT chain and start making transactions on the testnet. New accounts will get an airdrop of testnet HAT tokens to play around with.
