Today is the first day of the world. A new dawn has broken. It is no longer a world of haves and have-nots. We are all dedicated to the joy of each other. Those who mourn are consoled. Those who lack are given. Those who are lonely and met where they are with tea, company, and comfort. Those who seek have an entire world to explore.
How did we get here? We looked at each other. Well, most of us did. Some of us aren't comfortable looking with their eyes or don't have the capacity to look, but they perceived each other. They perceived the connection... we all perceived the connection. The ground. The need for our mother earth. The progenitor of us all. the thing that connects us all...the world we stand on. That grows food for us. That we still depend on... but even if we find our ways to other worlds, this earth will always connect us, because we only are the way we are because it was what it was. No matter where we go, we will always be what we are because of what we were, because of what the earth was.
We need to breathe. We need to eat and drink. We are fragile, and need the things we can make to keep us safe from cold and heat and things that want to eat us. We need to explore. We need to make our own meaning for life. We need love and comfort.
