Ashan sat on the bench.
Before him was a vista of green fields, mountains in the distance and to his left was the wild forest.
Just to his right was the flowing river and he could hear the splashing of the water as it ran over the rocks.
The field in front of him was festooned with wildflowers. There were yellows, Pinks, blues, oranges and magenta.
Paper Daisies, Poppies, what looked like Lavender and also Statice, some of his most favourite flowers
He enjoyed coming here often and always reveled in the majestic nature of the fields, mountains and forests.
He could see butterflies dancing about, dragon flies darting from one spot to another and even hear the bees as the buzzed from one nectar source to another.
The air was brilliant, never had it been so fresh.
He raised his gaze to the mountains ahead and could just see the peaks through the clouds, which were moving quite fast.
There is a strong wind about he thought.
He saw an eagle in the distance floating on the updrafts and occasionally plummeting downwards, obviously having spotted some prey that would make a nice meal.
The flowers started to blow in the breeze and he could see the dust getting stirred up.
To his right a Deer appeared at the river for a drink.
That's my cue , he thought, time to go.
Ashan leaned forwards and switched off his surround Vista.
Before getting up he reminisced about how he used to actually be able to visit this place when he was a boy.
That was before his allergies took hold of his life and forced him to live in this bubble.
