January 2018. The entrance of the old airport. The entrance of the most loved memories and of my first travels abroad when I was still a kid. The second week of the year 2018 I passed by, coming back to Athens after a ride to the seaside suburbs. The sunlight just before sunset was painting the premises in gold color, a real golden hour full of emotion and golden memories of a golden era. A kind of pilgrimage and a few moments of meditation in front of what made up my best memories... Well, nothing more to say. This photo is not the best I could take but it's a real mirror of the sadness I felt the moment I took it. The old Athens airport, an abandoned airport that could be at least a museum if not the second auxiliary facility for the air-transports. An abandoned airport that revokes so live memories!
