For everyone who follows A Daily Dose" on Facebook, Facebook has placed limits on the page, and it's the reason why you can't see posts/stories from A Daily Dose" on your news feeds.
Last week, I received the first notice, and it was about to end on October 27, 2020. However, the Facebook page was under some restrictions again. And this could be due to activities that don't comply with Facebook's policies. It's temporary and expires Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 7:44 AM.
At first, I was a bit relieved to know that it's about to end last Tuesday (I think I was waiting for a whole week for that restriction to end). And yet before it ended, limits have been placed once again.
I don't know what I did wrong. But to state some activities I do for the page, I sometimes select previous posts on the page and share them to groups where A Daily Dose" contents are related. There I get to reach even more people who react and seldom engage with what I put into the group.
The page had a history of misconduct (if I must say) where I shared every day, causing pending requests to pile up. And that I think has contributed to the main reason. Also, I experienced getting notices of some removed pending posts by Facebook, and it had something to do with community guidelines.
I don't know if Facebook was the one who did that or the admins of the group, but it was clear that I made a mistake. It was my fault that I was not aware of what is not allowed in community groups. Well, that was one lesson. After that, I rarely shared anything with groups since I was afraid that I might make another mistake.
This recent restriction was a result of yet another activity of sharing posts to groups. It's already been two weeks since I restarted doing that. But this time, I've done it every other day. In the end, I still got a restriction notice.
I don't know if that was why I got a restriction for my page, but it's pretty much what I think. It's just a guess. But if there is someone out there who can give me exact answers, it would be pretty much appreciated.
The page itself is not as popular compared to other similar pages, so it would not bother a lot of people as much. I'm not speaking so little of my page. However, I know that this inconvenience would not cause trouble to fans and followers of the page. Nonetheless, activities will continue as they are. Everyone may be able to see posts from the page like usual to news feeds once the limit is lifted and removed.
I wanted to share and do something like this blog post to at least let somebody know what is happening behind the scenes. And although I know that there would be few who will notice that this post exists, I still want to leave it here published. Why do I say that? As of now, I don't share blog posts links to other social media as a way of spreading the word. Still, this is my way of informing others in detail.
I hope I made this blog post worthy of your time. Thank you to everyone who appreciates it!
Are you someone who manages a Facebook Page? Do you have an experience similar to what I had? Do you know what was my mistake?
