A good weekend to let off steam, rest, enjoy a quiet day, although sometimes it's not quiet at all, no matter how much you want to, something always comes up, don't you think?
As every weekend engagement, we find ourselves again with another topic, by our friend @galenkp, thanks for this space, and I really liked this particular topic, about whether I would prefer to work in a place that I hate, but that pays me well or in one that I really love.
Well, I will tell you something, I graduated as a Systems Engineer, the truth is that I ended up studying this career just to have a degree, I never loved it as such, I did not feel identified with it, but it cost me a lot to finish it, I just wanted to have my degree, especially to give that happiness to my family.
Anyway, I had my degree, here began the time to look for a job, but in my country it is difficult to get one that is related to my career, so I had to work in the first job I got, which was in a company where I had no idea of anything, with which, over time I was learning, and my boss was very happy with my work, I felt comfortable, not only for what I learned but for my colleagues, who supported me and taught me a lot.
But after a while the changes came, I no longer felt comfortable, jobs were not coming out as before, so they told me that they were going to reduce my salary, the alarm went off, I had to look for other options.
Another job opportunity arose, I started in another company, of course in another field, another area that I had to learn, I learned in a short time, it was stressful at first, but I could understand and do my job well.
However, here also came the changes, the work and even the environment was no longer the same, I wanted to run away from there, so, at that time, I was presented with another job offer, I saw the pros and cons, and decided to accept it.
As they say things happen for a reason, in this company everything was going well, only that things came up that I did not expect, the crisis affected it too much, so it had to close, and I was left without a job.
After a while, I got a job in a store, I liked it at first, but I thought this is not my thing, what am I doing here, so I quit.
Since then, it has been difficult to get a good job, and the truth is I have not wanted to look for more, I got tired of working for others, so here I ask you, hasn't it happened to you that you reach a point where you no longer want to depend on a salary, you just want to be independent, but it's hard, it's true.
So, here I am, undecided, wandering, reflecting on what to do, to continue fighting for my independence, or to enslave myself to a job, which I may love with time, but then it will end.
Like when you have no idea what's going to become of you, but you keep trying to figure it out, that's how I've been feeling lately, I want to find something that I like, that I'm passionate about.
Since I started in this world of creating content, I feel like I've learned more, but I'm still missing, so as I always tell myself, you keep going, one day at a time!
