This world of art is a great experience for us as beginners, and I say us, because I'm a beginner, I'm just getting into this environment, drawing and creating new images is an adventure, no doubt.
In this opportunity I share with you this drawing that I made, first I drew it in pencil, I confess that it was a challenge for me, but I said to myself, if others can do it, why me, and as they say, you have to start somewhere.
Este mundo del arte es toda una gran experiencia para nosotros como principiantes, y digo nosotros, porque yo soy toda una aprendiz, apenas estoy incursionando en este ambiente, el dibujar y crear nuevas imágenes es toda una aventura, sin duda alguna.
En esta oportunidad les comparto este dibujo que realice, primero lo dibuje a lápiz, les confieso que fue todo un reto para mí, pero me dije a mi misma, si los demás pueden porque yo, y como dicen por allí, por algún lado hay que empezar.
I decided to take this image as a reference , I am very attracted to dragons, it reminds me of one of my favorite series Game of Thrones, so I was inspired and I wanted to try to draw my dragon.
It was not easy at all the truth, but well, I did what I could, I started doing the sketch in pencil, the most cumbersome part of this drawing were the legs or claws of the dragon, it cost me a lot, give it the shape, I managed to get something, and so I left it.
Decidí tomar esta imagen como referencia , me llama mucho la atención los dragones, me recuerda a una de mis series favoritas Juego de Tronos, por eso me inspiré y quise hacer el intento de dibujar mi dragón.
No fue nada fácil la verdad, pero bueno, hice lo que pude, empecé haciendo el bosquejo en lápiz, la parte más engorrosa de este dibujo fueron las patas o garras del dragón, me costó mucho, darle la forma, logre sacar algo, y así lo deje.
Then I proceeded to trace it with black marker to give more visualization to the lines and rounding of the dragon's shape, and with this I proceeded to give it some color, this part is relaxing, I don't know why, but you get inspired just by drawing.
Después procedí a trazarlo con marcador negro para darle mayor visualización a las líneas y redondeo de la forma del dragón, ya con esto procedí darle algo de color, es relajante esta parte, no sé por qué, pero te inspiras solo con el dibujar.
Once I finished my fully drawn dragon, I wanted to translate it to digital form, so I turned to Photoshop, and began to trace each part of the drawing.
Ya terminado mi dragón dibujado totalmente, quise plasmarlo a la forma digital, por lo que me dirigí al programa Photoshop, y empecé a trazar cada parte del dibujo.
I thought that this part was going to be the most difficult, the truth is I wasn't sure how to do it, I kept thinking how to draw the legs or claws of this dragon, if it was hard to draw them, imagine doing it digitally.
That's why I started with the easiest part in my opinion, which was the body, the wings, the face and even the mouth, with the teeth, I did all of this by parts, and then I put it together, until I could see how my dragon was turning out, if there was any resemblance with the drawing.
Yo pensé que esta parte iba a ser la más difícil, la verdad no estaba segura de hacerlo, seguía pensando como trazar bien la parte de los patas o garras de este dragón, si dibujarlos me costó, imagínense hacerlo en forma digital.
Por eso empecé por la parte más fácil a mi parecer, que fue el cuerpo, las alas, la cara e incluso la boca, con los dientes, hice todo de esto por parte, para luego ir armándolo, hasta ver como estaba quedando mi dragón, si había algún parecido con el dibujo.
Of course I know that it is not going to be exactly the same, but, even so, it was resembling a little, which is the important thing, at the end well I went with the claws, with this I finished the shape of the dragon, giving the color at once to each part of it.
Then I opted to add the background, give it a deeper touch, in the dark, well the truth is that I feel that I lack a little creativity and improve the design, I know, as I said I am a beginner, but I like to create and do something new every day, that's how you learn, as you say, it's a matter of practice.
Claro sé que no va a quedar exactamente igual, pero, aun así, se fue asemejando un poco, que es lo importante, al finalizar bueno me fui con las garras, con esto finalice la forma del dragón, dándole el color de una vez a cada parte del mismo.
Seguidamente opte por agregarle el fondo, darle un toque más profundo, en la oscuridad, bueno la verdad siento que me falta un poco de creatividad y mejorar el diseño, lo sé, como dije soy una principiante, pero me gusta crear y hacer algo nuevo cada día, así es como se aprende, como bien dice, es cuestión de práctica.
I like to be honest, and I'm honest with myself, I'm usually a bit demanding, I like to do things well, and until I have a good result, I don't stop trying, no matter how long it takes me, this drawing took me almost all day, working with Photoshop takes a process, especially for apprentices like me.
Me gusta ser sincera, y lo soy conmigo misma, suelo ser un poco exigente, me gusta realizar las cosas bien, y hasta que no tenga un buen resultado, no dejo de intentarlo, sea el tiempo que me demore, este dibujo me tomo casi todo el día, trabajar con Photoshop lleva su proceso, sobre todo para los aprendices como yo.
And that's how my dragon turned out, I hope you like it, it's really not as difficult as it seems, but it does require a lot of practice.
