Who could forget the famous Mrs. Doubtfire—an icon of cinema and comedy, and a funny, articulate, unique character brought to life by the unforgettable Robin Williams? The film tells the story of a father who would do anything to be with his children, even transforming himself into a woman.

Daniel Hillard is a loving husband and father whom his children consider the best dad around; however, his wife has grown tired of him acting like a child himself and asks for a divorce. Although he fights with all his might to gain custody, the judge rules against him. The only way he can stay close to his children is by posing as an elderly woman—becoming, in effect, their nanny.

Mrs. Doubtfire is a funny, heartwarming comedy featuring a hilarious Robin Williams. While the story may not be a cinematic masterpiece and is somewhat predictable, it still manages to deliver plenty of laughs and offers a thoughtful look at family life and the consequences of parental separation.

Cómo no recordar a la famosa Mrs. Doubtfire, un ícono del mundo del cine y de la comedia, un personaje divertido, elocuente y único, personificado por el inolvidable Robbins Williams, dónde en esta película veremos la historia de un padre que haría cualquier cosa para estar con sus hijos, incluso convertirse en mujer.

Daniel Hillard es padre y esposo amoroso, sus hijos lo consideran el mejor padre, pero su mujer está cansada de que se comporte como si también él fuera un niño, por lo que le pide el divorcio, aunque lucha con todas sus fuerzas para conseguir la custodia de los niños, el juez no se la concede, la única forma que consigue para seguir cerca de ellos es haciendose pasar por una señora mayor para poder ser, al menos, la canguro de sus hijos.

La Señora Doubtfire es una comedia divertida,y entrañable, con un Robin Williams gracioso, y una historia que si bien no es una obra de arte y es algo previsible nos logra sacar algunas carcajadas, y una buena reflexión sobre la convivencia y las consecuencias de las separaciones entre padres.

As I mentioned, this film stars Robin Williams, but it also features the famous actress Sally Field and actor Pierce Brosnan in leading roles; the movie uses comedy to portray the difficulties of family separation and divorce.

Parents are imperfect, like all human beings, and—as always—the children are the ones caught in the middle, trying to make sense of everything happening and the changes brought about by the separation. We watch as both parents learn to see each other in a new light while adapting to this new family dynamic.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Doubtfire is an affectionate and funny woman, albeit old-fashioned, who strives to keep the children on the right path. The story also touches—albeit less centrally—on themes regarding career-driven mothers and lazy fathers, as well as the nature of family bonds and how they can endure and be rebuilt in new ways.

Without a doubt, it is a lovely, entertaining, and funny film—well worth watching.

Como bien he mencionado está película es protagonizada por Robin Williams, pero también veremos a la famosa actriz Sally Field y junto con el actor Pierce Brosnan , quiénes también representan papeles principales; dicho film nos muestra en forma de comedia lo difícil de una separación familiar y el divorcio.

Los padres son personas imperfectas cómo todo ser humano, y los niños como siempre son los que quedan en el medio, tratando de entender todo lo que está pasando, junto con los cambios que genera esta separación; aquí veremos cómo ambos padres aprenden a verse desde otra forma, mientras se adaptan a esta nueva relación familiar.

Por otra parte, la Señora Doubtfire es una mujer cariñosa, divertida pero chapada a la antigua, y su manera busca que los niños siempre sigan el camino correcto; está historia también nos refleja el tema de las madres profesionales y los padres holgazanes, de forma no tan céntrica, y por último los lazos familiares y como se puede seguir y reconstruir de otras formas.

Sin duda es una bonita película, entretenida y divertida, vale la pena verla.
