Un saludo, gente de Hive, presento aquí mi introducción para mi reingreso formal a la plataforma.
Mi nombre es Iker Orsini, tengo 21 años (Así que me llamo Iker desde antes de que el nombre fuera Mainstream en Latinoamérica, por si acaso 🤠), soy venezolano y soy estudiante de Artes Audiovisuales.
Greetings, Hivers, I present here my introduction for my formal return to the platform.
My name is Iker Orsini, I'm 21 years old (So my name is Iker since before the name was Mainstream in Latam, just in case 🤠), I'm Venezuelan and I'm a student of Audiovisual Arts.
Me crié en una familia mayormente de artistas, mi abuelo paterno fue un destacado dramaturgo, mi abuela una prestigiosa actriz, mi papá y mi tía son cantantes, entre mis primos hay más músicos, cineastas, ilustradores, entre otros. Además hubo muchos otros artistas cercanos a mi familia entre los que me crié, como los integrantes del grupo de mi padre, o amigos cercanos de mis primos. Básicamente el entorno en el que me crié fue totalmente artístico y eso me llevó a interesarme por esa area desde niño.
I grew up in a family mostly of artists, my paternal grandfather was an outstanding playwright, my grandmother a prestigious actress, my father and my aunt are singers, among my cousins there are more musicians, filmmakers, illustrators, and more. There were also many other artists close to my family, among whom I grew up, such as members of my father's band, or close friends of my cousins. Basically the environment in which I grew up was totally artistic and that led me to be interested in that area since I was a child.

Desde ese entonces he incursionado y experimentado en diferentes áreas del arte, pasé un tiempo de mi vida como percusionista en el Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela, participé en unas prácticas radiales con mi hermano, en las que hablamos principalmente sobre la cultura caraqueña, también llegué a actuar en algunos proyectos audiovisuales e intenté algún par de veces incursionar en la literatura.
Since then I have ventured and experimented in different areas of art, I spent some time of my life as a percussionist in the Venezuelan Orchestras System, I participated in some radio practices with my brother, in which we talked mainly about the culture of Caracas, I also got to act in some audiovisual projects and tried a couple of times to dabble in literature.

Concert at the Center of Social Action for Music ("Centro de Acción Social por la Música"), I am the one who plays the timpani.
La adolescencia es una etapa de desafíos, donde la vida va mostrando su verdadera cara y uno empieza a aprender a formar parte de la sociedad que nos rodea. Las preocupaciones dejan de ser sólo de los padres, y empiezan a ser nuestras también.
En esta etapa, todos tenemos la responsabilidad de encontrar nuestro camino y no perdernos en la creciente complejidad del mundo, para lo cual hay que trabajar en nosotros mismos para obtener la fortaleza para ello. Es decir, para nunca dejar de ser nosotros, pase lo que pase.
En mi caso fue eso, una etapa de conocerme a mí mismo e intentar encontrar mi lugar. En esa época me volví mucho más sociable de lo que había sido en mi niñez, lo que me permitió conocer el mundo desde otras perspectivas y además trabajar mucho en mi persona.
Adolescence is a time of challenges, where life shows its true face and one begins to learn to be part of the society that surrounds us. Concerns stop being only of the parents, and begin to be ours as well.
At this stage, we all have the responsibility to find our way and not get lost in the growing complexity of the world, for which we must work on ourselves to gain the strength to do so. That is, to never stop being us, no matter what.
In my case it was that, a stage of getting to know myself and trying to find my place. At that time I became much more sociable than I had been in my childhood, which allowed me to get to know the world from other perspectives and also to work a lot on myself.

A día de hoy sigo en este eterno proceso de auto-conocimiento que, si bien no ha terminado, sí ha avanzado mucho. Como mencioné al inicio, actualmente soy estudiante de Artes Audiovisuales, es decir cine. Cuando empecé mis clases a nivel universitario en el 2018, tenía pensado retomar este blog, objetivo que descarté por centrarme en mis estudios, pero finalmente he decidido reincorporarme y seguir publicando mis reseñas cinematográficas.
La fotografía es otra de mis grandes pasiones, aún de forma bastante amateur pues lo que hago es jugar y experimentar con la cámara, así que estaré publicando los resultados que más me enorgullezcan por acá.
También aprovecharé Hive para incursionar en ese interés que como dije, he tenido desde niño, pero en el que jamás terminé de adentrarme realmente, es decir, en el mundo de la Literatura.
To this day I am still in this eternal process of self-knowledge that, although it has not finished, it has advanced a lot. As I mentioned at the beginning, I'm currently a student of Audiovisual Arts, i.e. filmmaking. When I started my classes at university level in 2018, I was planning to resume this blog, a goal that I discarded because I was focusing on my studies, but finally I have decided to rejoin and continue publishing my film reviews.
Photography is another of my great passions, even in a very amateur way, because what I do is to play and experiment with the camera, so I'll be publishing the results that make me most proud here.
I will also take the chance of Hive to dabble in that interest that, as I said, I've had since I was a child, but I never really got into, that is, the world of Literature.

No cierro este post sin antes dejar una mención a mi señor padre @Ylich, quien me incentivó a retomar mi blog y, de hecho, nunca dejó de recomendármelo, desde que dejé de publicar hace unos 3 años. ¡Aquí estoy, padre!
