Morality is the authentic foundation of living in Africa. Morals or Morality is always a systemaic process of building good behaviors into people from time to time, majorly from childhood in, and from our different homes.
Morals and morality is believed to be a set up from leaderships in our towns, village, neighborhood, communities, churches, age grade meetings, schools and any group. Morals are transferred through talking, teachings, setting up rules and regulations, taking actions against negative behaviors, and appreciation of good behaviors.
Most times, negative morals are curbed off by setting some punishments or taking fynes against offenders of the set rules and regulations.
There are good and bad morals in every gatherings, societies, group of people, churches and communities. Therefore, good morality should supposedly be the identity and the responsibility of many people. There are good morals, and as well as bad morals in our world today because everybody is never the same and people are not perfect.
Your parents will always be proud of you when you behave according to the good teachings they have been inculcating into your life. They are happy with their good behaving children
Parents will always warn their good behaving children,...,
"don't forget the child of whom you are, because at this point, they're proud of you as a good behaved child, you can't disrespect or disappoint them"
People have choices to behave good or bad but for emphasis sake, good and quality behaviors or Morality which is generally set up from many angles in our societies. Morality is a systemic process for living a good life to everyone that determines to.
Morality is our cultural heritage in our communities, families, group of people, age grades and our societies in general. Morality goes beyond individual choices. Most times, people are forced to have good and quality morals by the leaderships deciding to set up some financial fynes against the bad and ugly behaviors.
For example, at the time I was growing up, it was against the moral ethics and standard of good moral beliefs for a young woman to get pregnant outside wedlock, i mean without officially being married to a known man that has stepped into her parents home to pay her dowery. It's regarded as an abomination to the community and a shameful practice to her, and her entire family even her community or neighbourhood. It's not done at all..... This is a good moral standpoint set up by the elders of our communities in those days
When someone steals and is caught, the community guards set up by the king and his cabinet will arrange that that every individual that stole will be set stack naked either women or men, dancing in the open Markets on market days and everyone will gather watching, the thief will be receiving some strokes of cane from those community guards anyhow, people will be looking, watching, laughing and making gest or fund of the thief, exposing him or her just to create good moral into other people around, people also will be surprised that such a person steals. The aim is to expose and stop such a bad and shameful practice thereby creating and enforcing good morality into the people in their community
Morality are set by many branches of people in life.. from our parents in our individual families, the elderly people in our communities, by our churches leaders, age grades, kings in different communities and neighborhoods.
In Africa, children and young people are raised morally by the elders in the society. For example, a child that loves to quarrel or is always fighting will be corrected by some elderly people through scoldings or flogged by any elderly for corrections not only by the parents of that child.
It's believed that every grown good adult has that responsibility to train or to scold or control an erring child for corrections. Some good elderly people itentions and eyes of good training and character control is on our growing children to lead them alright.
Morality showcase's our values, rules and regulations, beliefs. This is talking about how we train our children from childhood directing them on about our good and quality behaviors to a valuable living and lifestyle, so they can grow into reasonable adults.
Morality is the training of a people on how to respect others starting from our elders to everyone else around us, morality is transferable, from parents to their children and wards, from generations to others. Moral level or standard of every singular individual is the sume total of who this person is or should be in the society and in the future.
The morality you were raised with immediately introduces you wherever you find yourself in life. Be it at your work place, at the interview room,, at school, in the market place, in a social group, and or in the very neighborhood where you live.
Morality is the real personality introduction of you every where you go in life. Mority is everybody's identity all through life ... We need to be very careful on how to set up and run with morals in life
