I once watched a movie (forgotten the title) in which a fake-ass celebrity -- under pressure by the press, of the fact that he couldn't live up to the lie of the fame he suddenly achieved -- decided to commit suicide. Then stepped in the real hero to his rescue, talking him out of his suicide mission.
To cut the long tail -- sorry, I mean tale -- short, during a lengthy conversation that ensued, the fake-ass celebrity said to the hero (the real "celebrity" who was denied the heroic deed that the fake-ass celebrity claimed): "You mean you still want me to take the credit for what you did?" And the unrecognized hero replied: "I'm a cash kind of guy." Get it!
It was this hero's pun-ny remark that inspired my "Cash & Credit" series of poetic quotes, one of which I'm posting now. Hope you like. Hit me an upvote if you do. More soon...
