A lot of us start up the process of learning, of been mentored by those who are in possession of better understanding of what we intend to venture into, those who are better experienced, but we are lead astray by the euphoria of what we earn in the present, we are concerned about just the immediate profits and gains, never thinking of what potential the future holds, as a result of our greed we break out, we put personal interest above what can be achieved at a faster pace through team work, we take the long lone road to finding success, our journey to our desired Eldorado becomes decelerated as a result of our own efforts.
The truth is a mentor will never directly teach you all that is to be known, most of these things you have to stick around much longer to learn them, some knowledge and information required to be successful can not be expressed verbally, they could exist through body languages, they could be found in facial expressions, particular and nonconventional approach to solving problems, they could even exist in expressed temperaments, how do you learn this if you do not stick around for a long time to learn.
