Magandang buhay!
It's the middle of the month (and midweek too) which means many things. For one, the days are going by fast and I have been less productive. Someone's birthday is coming soon, there's the graduation of my niblings and I'm yet to buy any presents (not that they are expecting anything but it's a thoughtful thing to do), and whatever else I may have forgotten due to too much nap time, lol!
Onchain, it's Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and we got things done since there is no plan of missing any of it. With just a few clicks and bam! 300 LEOs locked away temporarily to help me spread and earn more of their kind.
Just in case a newbie here might be wondering how staking LEO allows one to distribute and earn more, the simple answer to that would be through curation. It works similarly to the Hive Power. We stake the tokens, and upvote (curate) other people's content which makes them earn and we do too. One of the magic of the Hive blockchain, if I may say so.
With the LEO added today, my combined Leo Power (alt plus this account) has now breached the 30k milestone. Two years of grinding (showing up daily, creating content, curating, buying, staking), and yep, we did it. Yay!
That doesn't mean it stops there though.
I would call it a good addiction (or maybe not). But yes, slowly and surely adding to it, month after month while we can. I really want to see the project succeed and growing my Leo Power is my way of supporting it and its initiatives. And that's just one of the reasons why I am continuing on this journey. Plus, I like to cultivate patience and build a long-term perspective.
I'm not usually the one sticking to a plan but somehow, being on Hive makes me do things a bit lot more differently. That is also why I often think this blockchain is my haven.
And it is. I think it is so for other people too.
Meanwhile, it has been a rainy Wednesday here in our lil kingdom and not many things (almost none) have been accomplished. I had a pause on my online commitments (have been away from the screen most due to a sprained wrist and wonky spirit).馃槄
Sometime in the afternoon, I woke up to see my wee boy enjoying his snooze time squeezed under the footrest of my computer chair. He is a stubborn little fella but he just looks so peaceful and trusting in his sleep.
Anyhow, that is just a glimpse of how things are here. Simple, quiet, slow and lovely. I hope your day is treating you well too. Have a terrific one and Happy LPUD!
