Unexpected Trip # 3 Malaysia

After landing to Maylasia for the first time, I asked the question, "Do you know where Malaysia on the map is?" While my friend of mine was reviewing my geography, I felt a bit awkward for some reasons. Well, my amnesia kicked in, so I talked to myself silently, "Come on reviews come in different ways.". By the way, I was with a teacher who had the idea of the trip.

Now, this map works for "us" to know where Malaysia is located. It is a country of Southeast Asia, lying just north of the Equator, that is composed of two noncontiguous regions: Peninsular Malaysia (Semenanjung Malaysia), also called West Malaysia (Malaysia Barat), which is on the Malay Peninsula, and East Malaysia (Malaysia Timur), which is on the island of Borneo. The Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, lies in the western part of the peninsula, about 25 miles (40 km) from the coast; the administrative centre, Putrajaya, is located about 16 miles (25 km) south of the capital. More than the beautiful tourist spots that the country offers, these are the things that caught my attention while visiting the place.

This crowd of locals gathered together in their city square to listen to their Prime Minister's talk and for New Year's Eve countdown. I heard that they do it every year. No wonder drivers know where their stations are. ^^

The whole place was packed with citizens as well as foreigners who were joining the celebration.

On the other side, there were also devoted Moslems who took the time to have a short sharing before the leader of the state delivered his talk.

Guess what? Where is this? Is this at the airport? No, it's is actually in a bus station.

There's so much more to explore and appreciate in this country, so go and visit the place.
