Seriously, is it that incredibly difficult to draw a picture of a house without going to Pinterest to find an image to plagiarize?

I am not an artist and wanted to concentrate on curation; So, I bought a big pile of CCC, #POB, WAIV and other coins to curate the #inktober keyword.

Sadly, most of the entries for the event are simply tracing copyrighted images from Pinterest. The few original drawings failed to use the #creativecoin tag.

My whole plan for the month was ruined.

Anyway, last night I decided to draw a picture of a house with a mail box that was a miniature version of the house. The plan was to draw the picture in under five minutes.

I thought about drawing the house freehand. To get the proportions right I decided to lightly mark the covering for the front porch with my fancy ruler as scene below.

With the basic house in place I drew the house with a little sharpie. I then realized that I forgot to leave a gap for the mailbox.

I tried sketching the mailbox in over the line that I drew for the porch and gave up.

I guess I proved myself wrong. It is impossible for a person to draw a picture of a house without tracing the image from pinterest.

Plagiarize on ... original drawings are just too much work.

I could try drawing the picture a second time. If I were an artist; I would always do a rough draft that I intended to discard followed by a real picture.

Here is the proof of art #POB ... the super light sketched framework for the house.

PS this post was simply intended to show that it is possible to draw a picture of a house in under five minutes. I messed up and forgot to leave room for the focal point of the pictur.
