Various kinds of culinary products are sold here, the result of the skilled hands of the residents which are packaged in such a way that they are better known as "Small and Medium Enterprises". These products have been facilitated by the local government in an event in one of the open/public spaces, last weekend.
The event titled "Ahad Festival" was held on Sunday, December 18, 2022, on a street in Lhokseumawe City. They held it on the main road in the office area because it coincided with a working holiday, so they called it "Car Free Day".
Several traffic and road officers from related agencies were involved to maintain order during the event.
At that time, even though it was raining, I managed to capture the impromptu market activity with my camera, and here are the photos, according to each food product along with the activities of the vendors and buyers that I met at the event location. The buyers and traders are local residents.
1. Grilled Rice and other Culinary Products
2. Butter Crepes with Various Flavors
3.Fried Crab and others
4. Grilled meatball
5. Various other Snacks
Apart from culinary delights, other handicraft products such as jewelry trinkets also enlivened this event. Some residents looked very enthusiastic when I directed my camera shots at them.
"Their smiles are sincere, as sincere as their hearts when they are rich with all their creativity," I muttered.
And, this is a health drink made from spices.
Other traders swiftly took advantage of this moment to sell their wares in the form of children's toys.
One of the culinary products that have been given to me by the merchant closes my shipment on this occasion.
"Produce your work so that our lives can truly live".
