Turkey Tail Mushroom

This type of mushroom I chose for my contribution to today's #FungiFriday, hosted by @ewkaw.

Trametes versicolor or also called turkey tail mushroom. I found this mushroom at the base of a large tree branch on the side of the main road in my city. The tree trunk is covered in a mound of mushrooms. At first glance, it looks like a tiny bud part of a tree, but it's not!

Slowly, one by one part of this mushroom into my camera shots. This is the resulting image:

and this part of the tree trunk is a breeding medium for this turkey tail mushroom.
